Sourcing & Procurement:
“VAMS” has a dedicated team of professionals who are well respected and have developed strong relationships throughout the world to suppliers of services, parts, inventory, and equipment to the military and aviation sectors. Although the majority of our experience is in the aviation sector, we are well versed in providing logistics solutions to all arms of the Defence Force (Army, Navy, and Air Force), in addition to Police, and Corrective Services.
“VAMS” is a “just in time” service provider as we utilise our vast network of suppliers around the world to source and supply parts, efficiently and effectively. This means that parts are sourced for your particular requirement, costs are kept down buy not having to account for warehousing, and the parts come with fresh traceability. Our speciality is in hard to find parts, or where items are required in a short time frame. As a result we would be happy to receive your requests.
Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul:
One of the major benefits that “VAMS” offers is in the area of the management of repairable or recoverable items, or as commonly known – Rotable Items (RI’s). The service we offer is a complete service, from the:

• Induction and Inspection
• Export of the item,
• Management of any license requirements,
• Full shipping (export & import),
• TT&E and the provision of strip reports,
• Modification incorporation
• Serial Number tracking,
• Warranty
  

This service extends to all “RI” components for repair, overhaul, or servicing of the items through accredited facilities that meet or exceed regulatory requirements. As a result the facilities contracted to carry out any maintenance activities, including calibration, are either OEM, FAA, JAA, or CASA approved and hold the appropriate accreditation. “VAMS” has a network of approved repair/overhaul stations that provide services for both military and commercial applications. These facilities are waiting to provide you with the service you are looking for to improve your MTBF. All RI’s are strictly maintained in accordance with current OEM publications, or with those supplied by the customer. Additionally, “VAMS” can also provide its customers with a fast and efficient rotable exchange programme to meet your demands, in addition to managing your rotable pool levels.
We pride ourselves in being able to keep you appraised at all times as to the whereabouts of your asset, and will provide status reports on a frequency as determined and agreed by you.
Ground Support Equipment:
The staff at “VAMS” have a wealth of knowledge when it come to the use, operation, and maintenance of Ground Support Equipment. This is as a direct result of them having worked on flight lines or as ramp managers, or in workshops where GSE has been maintained or repaired. With this knowledge we at “VAMS” realise the importance of providing equipment that will meet your operational requirements, plus be reliable, but will also suit your budget. Additionally, we fully understand the need to be able to source parts quickly so that any disruption to your operation is minimised.

“VAMS” is pleased to announce that we have strategically aligned ourselves with premier suppliers of used and refurbished equipment, as well as manufacturers of new GSE. With this in mind, we are offering an alternative solution from a team with experience in sourcing, operating, and maintaining GSE.
